The excitation transformer is used to stimulate the series resonance circuit. The inverter controller provides the power supply for the whole set of equipments and transforms the sinusoidal alternating current (AC) with a fixed amplitude and frequency from 380V or 220V to an AC power with adjustable amplitude and frequency. The output voltage of the inverter power supply is raised to a suitable voltage by means of an excitation transformer. High-voltage reactor L and test specimen C series resonance occurs, the resonant voltage is the voltage added to the test specimen C, that is, the test voltage, which can be adjusted by the output voltage of the frequency conversion power supply to realize the high-voltage test of capacitance test specimen C.

The site of the cable voltage withstand test, before and after the voltage withstand test need to do insulation test, the national standard requirements of the insulation resistance value should not be less than 70% of the factory test value of the product or not less than 100,000MΩ (20 ℃), we especially emphasize the safety of the test period, especially in the high-voltage test, safety is always the primary consideration.
