  • What should be noted when using a series resonant device?

    The series resonance under UHV power can help many power workers conduct various power tests more conveniently.

    The variable frequency series resonant device utilizes the principle of series resonance and the output characteristics of the excitation transformer to excite the series resonant circuit. By adjusting the output frequency of the variable frequency controller, the inductance L in the circuit resonates with the sample C. The resonant voltage is the voltage applied to the sample. On site inspection of the laying quality of cross-linked cables and the installation quality of accessories is an effective means. By connecting series and parallel reactors, the AC withstand voltage requirements of 10kV-500kV high-voltage cross-linked cables can be met.

    The variable frequency series resonant device is suitable for AC withstand voltage testing of various large power transformers, power cables, steam turbines, hydroelectric generators and other capacitive devices, and must be strictly carried out regularly according to the testing procedures. Under power frequency conditions, due to the large capacitance or high testing voltage requirements of the tested product, higher requirements are also placed on the corresponding power capacity of the testing equipment. Traditional power frequency withstand voltage equipment is usually a single large V. Heavy and cumbersome, difficult to work on site, inconvenient to assemble, and poor flexibility.

    To ensure the high efficiency of the variable frequency series resonant cavity, the following aspects should be noted:

    During the use of variable frequency series resonance devices, attention should be paid to avoiding storage and high temperatures, as well as conducting variable frequency series resonance withstand voltage testing equipment in environments with high humidity, flammability, explosion, and strong magnetic fields.

    When repairing the VVF series resonant device, the outer shell of the VVF series resonant voltage testing device should be cleaned with a damp cloth and neutral cleaner. Do not use abrasives and solvents.

    Before operation, it is necessary to check whether the frequency conversion series resonant device is intact, whether the connecting wires are intact, ensure power output, whether the signal sampling cable is safely connected, and whether the conductor is unobstructed.

    4. Before using the frequency conversion series resonant device, it should also be ensured that the connection is correct, especially the grounding circuit, which must be safely grounded;

    During the testing of the variable frequency series resonant device, sudden disconnection of the power supply is not allowed. The power supply can only be disconnected when the frequency conversion series resonance withstand voltage testing equipment exits the testing state during each test.
