    Product Introduction

    With the continuous advancement and expansion of modern technology, higher demands are being placed on the reliability of power systems and high-voltage equipment. Accidents or damage to electrical equipment are often closely related to insulation defects. As electrical equipment tends to have larger capacity, higher voltage, diversified structures, and improved sealing, new and more stringent requirements have emerged for insulation testing. Under such circumstances, ordinary megohmmeters are no longer sufficient to detect the insulation performance of large-capacity equipment.

    Power test procedures require a series of insulation performance tests for various power equipment, including cables, motors, generators, transformers, voltage transformers, high-voltage switches, and lightning arresters. The first and most fundamental test among these is the insulation resistance test.

    When testing the insulation resistance of large-capacity power equipment, the measured resistance value is closely related to the pressurization time: the longer the pressurization time, the higher the insulation resistance value. This phenomenon is known as insulation absorption. To properly evaluate the insulation performance of the equipment under test, it is essential to first perform the absorption ratio and polarization index tests. These tests provide a critical safety foundation for subsequent insulation performance assessments, such as leakage current, dielectric loss, partial discharge, and other diagnostic tests.

    2. Two methods of synchronously displaying insulation resistance values. The mechanical pointer adopts an ultra-thin tension wire structure with strong seismic resistance. The use of mechanical pointers can easily observe the range of insulation resistance changes, and the use of dot matrix LCD screens can guide users in operating instruments and accurately obtain measurement results.

    Matters needing attention 

    1.     2. Battery measurement of instrument internal, Show dimor the boot does not show, undervoltage display light turn on,said battery is low, should promptly shut down the instrument and charging. 

    3. When the instrument is not used for a long time should be regularly to charge the battery (Two months for once). Frequently check whether the battery liquid leakage, Battery leakage will corrosion and damage the instrument . 

    4. Instrument stored in a dry, clean, no corrosive gas environment. 

    5. For large capacity load test, the tested finish have enough time discharge, the discharge is completed can disassemble test line. (Large capacitive load discharge is best for more than 1 minutes) 

    6. Instruments are not connected to the test product, Insulation resistance measured value is generally greater than T (1T=1000G), this value is generally random infinite values, like tested air, It is not practical. 

    7. If the instrument failure, Should be invited to professional repair personnel or send to the company repair, shall not be opened instrument, otherwise, the loss caused our company is not responsible for.
